I think I use "like" and "all" as quotatives when...
For example, I would say “I said ‘good morning’” if I said “good morning,” but I would say “I was all GOOD MORNING” if I was in fact vigorously thinking “good morning.”
And this confuses some people because I think really outrageous things and they don’t understand that I don’t actually say them, I just really want to.
Agh I have so many thoughts tonight.

It’s such an amazingly broad-ranging word. People don’t realize how cool it is that a speaker can use it in 239458742 different ways and the listener can still interpret it and discern each of its meanings.

Actually, I think I am incapable of being productive right now. I look at my homework and I want to get up and run a couple miles. I want to do something because I’ll really regret it tomorrow if I don’t but I can’t.

Maybe I just operate better under the pressure of knowing I wasted several hours being unproductive before I even tried to be productive.
