Listening to Evanescence just isn’t the same as it used to be. I guess I’m not an angsty pubertal teen anymore. (I’m more of a depressive late-adolescence teen.) There are still songs that catch my ear, but some of them it’s like “Amy Lee please seek therapy and stop bothering me with your problems.” I didn’t even download any of their new album when it came out in October because it was all rather blasé.
